SUMATRA MANDHELING
ORIGIN
DESCRIPTION
HISTORY
The coffees of Asia are some of the most distinguished in the world. The Sumatrans, Indonesian classics, are grown on the islands of the Malay Archipelago. These coffees are noted for their richness and heavy, full body. They have a distinctively spicy, vibrant taste, and a deep-toned, gentle acidity
The Celebes Kalosi, from the island now known as Sulawesi Toraja, is a similar coffee, but like a "little sister" to the Sumatrans, being milder and easier on the palate.
