Who We Are...

The Colorado Coffee Exchange is a locally owned, locally operated coffee roaster.  We first opened for operation on Jan. 5, 1993.  All coffees are roasted on premises in our drum roaster to insure freshness and quality.  No roasted coffees are sold over 10 days old.  
We have a dozen varietals to choose from, as well as over two dozen flavors, all available in regular or decaffeinated coffee!  (all decafs are Swiss water processed, by the way).

FRESH ROASTED
Coffee in its natural state is pretty useless. It's a green bean much like any other seed.  The art of the Roastmaster is to bring out the complex, aromatic essences that are unique to each bean origin. Some beans will be roasted lightly so the delicate subtleties are not overwhelmed, while others will be dark roasted to bring out their unique piquant flavor. We custom roast every few days or so, depending on volume, so as not to exceed our 10 day limit on freshness.  We depend solely on experience and visual and auditory clues to know exactly when the roast is finished.
